Caribbean Street Fair
This year‘s Hemingway Days Caribbean Street Fair to benefit Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) is Saturday July 25th from 10 AM till 9 PM.
Every year we celebrate Hemingway’s birthday as old town Key West transforms into “Papa’s Town”.
Street Fair sponsors and vendors for food, drink, arts and crafts are encouraged to make application for this event which transforms lower Duval Street into a lively open air marketplace for pedestrians.
Each year, thousands of people peruse several blocks of booths from local and regional vendors displaying original arts and crafts - from jewelry to clothing to gifts to paintings.
In addition, fair attendees taste buds are tempted by the aromas of delicious island and ethnic dishes prepared on site, while beverages are available to slake their thirst.
The popular Street Fair benefits Literacy Volunteers of America, which provides free, confidential, one to one and small group literacy tutoring for Monroe County adults, and families, who read and write at fifth grade level.
Interested sponsors and vendors, please call or text Mary at 305-304-0578 for more information, or download the vendor application form below.
