Our Students

The men and women who come for help to the Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) in the Florida Keys, are from all over the world.

Our services are offered free of charge and without discrimination. We offer instruction in Basic Read for adults with a Grade 5 or lower proficiency level, as well as instruction in English as a Second Language. We also have classes to help prepare students for Citizenship tests.

Please complete the Student application below or stop by the LVA office. All students are tested for their starting proficiency level before they are matched with a volunteer tutor.
